Prairie Creek Energy Services Ltd. was proud to be part of the Ski Resort project. Its commitment to environmental stewardship by providing air curtain burner services for the safe and efficient disposal of wood waste generated during site maintenance and development activities.
Our team deployed mobile air curtain burner units directly on-site to mitigate the wood waste recovered from the construction of new ski runs, allowing for rapid and clean combustion of biomass materials. This method significantly reduced the volume of wood debris while minimizing environmental impact.
Key Achievements:
- 99% smoke reduction compared to traditional open burning methods, adhering to the Regional ventilation Index.
- Elimination of harmful methane emissions, which would otherwise result from wood waste decomposition.
- On-site biochar production, creating a valuable soil amendment that supports vegetation and carbon sequestration.
- Improved site safety and aesthetics, supporting our client’s long-range development plans and conservation goals.
This project aligns with our client’s broader environmental initiatives and showcases Prairie Creek Energy Services Ltd.’s role in delivering innovative, eco-conscious solutions for the tourism and recreation sector.
